Fight between JNU and BHU

In 2015,the ministry of human resources development set up a National
institute of ranking framework under the Universities Grants
Commission  to decide ranks o f all educational institutions and 402
universities by April 2016.On Monday,the fresh ranking list released
says Institute of Science,Bangalore topped the lost followed by JNU
and BHU.
In the past,India Today group in partnership with the Nielson Company
used to publish annual ranking list of all universities.The ranking is
decided on several parameters,including Indian Association of
Universities handbook having list of 402 universities and technical
institutes,indepth analysis ,reputation,quality of academic
input,faculty,research projects and
publications,infrastructure,placement opportunities and now internet
facilities on the campus.Inputs provided by the NAAC reports are also
considered.
